current mood: slightly warm, forgetful
Here we are on the last day of January, so here's my 'stats', as it were.
I have written NOTHING. (omg, this cannot continue!) Although I did decide to split a previous idea into two and have been nutting out bits and pieces for the half I had almost previously discarded.
I have read
1. 'End of the World Blues' by John Courtney Grimwood. it was ok. i actually read most of it in december, but finished it in jan, so it counts here.
2. 'Darkly Dreaming Dexter' by Jeff Lindsay. it was not quite the same as the tv show, but more or less the same.
3. 'Dearly Devoted Dexter' by Jeff Lindsay. it was even more not quite the same as the show, but with strange parallels. THe books are not as indepth for other characters (bar dexter, and even then...) but they're still fun.
4. 'Eucalyptus' by Murray Bail. it was good/annoying/boring depending on my mood, but it was not difficult to keep reading, so not bad at all.
5. 'Dexter in the Dark' by Jeff Lindsay. it was even more not not not at all the same as the show. omg. i bet the show will never ever go there.
6. 'Obernewtyn' by Isobelle Carmody. well, it was... obernewtyn. surely you've read it yourself?
also a goodly amount of the book about Graeme Base and his art/books.
I have made again, NOTHING, that I can think of. But today is not over yet and I am determined to have something to edit into here by midnight! Even if it is something incredibly crap, like a sculpture made from alfoil, or another dog-fur-felt heart (perhaps this time with clean dog fur!)
...(take two)... a mini-bear wool-felt head, then my needle broke so he gets no body. Looky:

I have watched *
1. - 8 9 10!. ok I can't remember what order I watched these in. Next time I'll write them down, and who knows how many i forgot altogether?! I really can't remember. Brain, you fail.
Slumdog_Millionaire (c) awesome.
WALL_E (dvd) awesome.
THe_year_my_voice_broke (dvd, 21st anniversary edition). pretty neat :)
I_am_Legend (dvd) pretty good.
Away_from_Her (dvd) yeah good, but unsatisfying ending!
The_Contender (tv)
Bitter_Harvest (or how harry became a tree, the alt. title, which would have warned me of the strange ending) (dvd)
Billy_Madison (tv)
Fido (dvd) awesome. ggrrrraaahhh, get sum zomB lovin.
The_Devil_Wears_Prada (dvd)
*I am including only FILMS in this list, (although that can include feature documentaries, of course. like that's going to happen. So my list does not contain copious amounts of the Simpsons, Arrested Development, Dexter, Black Books and sundry what have yous. And amazingly still doesn't include Shaun of the Dead, Goonies or Monsters Inc! How bout that!)
